Yoga Courses and Workshops
From time to time we offer a number of specialist courses and workshops at the Inner Place. These include:
Yoga Nidra
Yoga nidra, a Sanskrit term meaning “yogic sleep” is a subtle, gentle relaxation technique that releases and relaxes the body and mind.
Also called “psychic sleep,” yoga nidra is a state between sleeping and waking. The body is completely relaxed and the practitioner turns the awareness inward by listening to a set of instructions; much like a guided meditation.
Yoga nidra practice results in deep relaxation and expands the individual’s self-awareness.
Seasonal Yoga
Our seasonal Yoga workshops help you to learn how to live in sync with the energy of the season, to reduce the stress and anxieties of modern life. A regular practice of Seasonal Yoga improves your physical strength and flexibility and helps you to find balance and harmony in your life. In these workshops, you will learn about the specific energy aspects of each season, the Meridians (energy lines) and organs corresponding to each season, seasonal living tips, and seasonal Asanas. Learn how to connect with the changing energy of nature and the seasons to keep yourself happy, positive, calm and full of energy.
Yoga Philosophy
Gain a deeper understanding about the true nature of Yoga and how it can enhance your everyday life.

Yoga Classes
We offer regular Yoga classes during the daytime, the evening and at weekends. Some of the many benefits of yoga include improved flexibility, balance, strength, and mental health. It could also help relieve stress, inflammation, and anxiety. The scientific research into yoga’s benefits supports what practitioners seem to have known for millennia: Yoga is incredibly beneficial to our overall well-being.
Pilates Classes
Pilates targets the deep postural core muscles, building strength from the inside out, re-balancing the body and bringing it into correct alignment.
One to One Yoga Therapy
Yoga therapy is a mind-body practice that focuses on your physical, emotional and mental health. Working together, we will help you to identify changes that you would like to make for yourself. The practice involves designing a personal programme, using movement, mindfulness, meditation, relaxation and breathing exercises to help you relax, relieve stress and manage underlying conditions or symptoms.
