Movement Classes with Alexandra

Alexandra’s Movement Classes are a blend of both Pilates and Yoga.
These classes are designed to increase strength, stamina, flexibility and general well-being.

 

Movement Classes @ The Inner Place

Pilates and Yoga training are successfully combined to give a challenging and rewarding class. There are classes for younger and older clients, for those wishing to improve their strength, stamina, flexibility and wellbeing, to help people with chronic back problems and those recovering from injury. 

Alexandra also runs classes for competing horse riders that is specifically aimed to deepen the seat, improve strength and flexibility and control the stresses of competition.

Alexandra has always been interested in sport and fitness particularly riding, dance and cross country running. A desk bound job and a chronic back problem led Alexandra to Pilates nearly 20 years ago qualifying as a Pilates teacher in 2006 with the Body Control Pilates Association. In 2010 Alexandra qualified as a Yoga teacher through Real Yoga. “Yoga has helped me better understand the connection between body and mind, movement and stillness and to improve breathing to achieve better overall health and wellbeing”.

The sessions are both challenging and rewarding and are created with the aspirations and needs of each participant in mind.
